The Sparta-Hancock Bee Hive & Butterfly Gardens wish to attract all native pollinators, especially Monarch Butterflies migrating through Georgia. There is a live observation beehive inside the library – the first such hive in a GA library – and many native plants have been planted to provide a natural food source for the library bees.
