What type of BUTTERFLIES are you trying to attract?

I am successfully attracting Black Swallowtails, Tiger Swallowtails, and Monarch Butterflies to my butterfly garden.

What NECTAR and HOST plants are in your garden?

Host: parsley, dill, fennel, and milkweed

Nectar plants: butterfly bush, zinnias, gerber daisies, black eyed Susan’s, Phloxes, catmint, butterfly weed, sedum, coneflowers, lanced-leaved coreopsis, aster, liatris, salvia, allium, and marigold

I also gave grasses where the butterflies can rest at night and hid and a plate for puddling.
